It’s getting to be that time again! Mustard and burgundy and cognac, OH MY. As Summer *technically* comes to an end (On September 22nd to be exact), I’ll slowly start incorporating transitional looks on the blog! One way to easily transition from one season to another is to start changing up your color scheme. Mustard is one of my favorite fall colors so when I found this pleated mustard dress I was all over it!
I’m usually not a cold shoulder, cut-out gal but the color and pleats made it worth it. I got this dress in a small, it fits true to size and has a great lining so it’s not see through! I was tempted to shoot this look with a pair of peep toe booties but since it was still pretty warm in Chicago, I went with my favorite nude sandals (plus they are incredibly comfortable). I’ve linked my peep toe bootie choice HERE.
I hope you loved this look! Thanks for stopping by!
P.S. The burger place we ate at was called “The Butcher and the Burger” and it was THE BOMB.
Here’s some cellphone snaps of our food!
