This sweater is super thin which makes it a great transitional piece! The length is on the shorter side. I have a long torso which makes me pay close attention to length. You can counter a shorter length top with higher waist pants. I also wore mine off the shoulder to help it appear longer.
Full disclosure, I am NOT a fan of purple but I AM a huge fan of bell sleeves so I got over it. Ha. It was either purple of a Cognac/Burnt Orange color and I’m a Texas A&M Graduate therefore, I don’t own a single piece of burnt orange. (Fellow Aggies, ya feel me?) This sweater was also released in a gorgeous blue that I definitely would’ve gotten if it had been available.
No matter the color you purchase this sweater in, you can wear it with white, blue or black denim. I was even tempted to wear mine with my favorite bell bottom jeans which would’ve been completely ironic to have “bell’s” on my sleeves and “bells” on my jeans. I’ll definitely want to repeat this look with riding boots in the cooler temps.
